The short version:
I’m a programmer and linux enthusiast from Minnesota. I like snowboarding , playing guitar, and socialising with friends. Also, coffee.
The long version:
I’m a software developer in Minnesota. I currently live and work in the Twin Cities metro area. I’m originally from Willmar, MN , where I graduated high school in 2000. I graduated from Ridgewater Community College, Willmar in 2003 with an A.A. Computer Science. I continued college at University of MN, Duluth starting in 2004 until 2006 studying Computer Science and Philosophy.
Between 2006 and 2008, I worked with many private companies as a contractor/freelancer. I finished over 30 projects in that time. Most projects involved the LAMP stack.
In late 2008, I moved to Minneapolis and soon started working as a Magento Developer at ShopJimmy. We tackled some large projects together, including expanding business to the UK.
Around August 2010, I moved down the street (literally) and started working for The Nerdery, where I code with every language I can get my hands on. The Nerdery was recently rated one of the best companies to work for in the Twin Cities, and I’ll agree with that. The culture at work is awesome.
